Just received this from Yankton County Emergency Management:
Anyone who would like to submit a question to those speaking at this afternoon’s flood event public information meeting in Yankton can do so ahead of time via e-mail. The subject matter of questions received by 3 pm today may be addressed directly by speakers during their remarks, time permitting. The e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
The public will also be able to submit questions at the meeting.
Speakers will include officials from the Yankton Office of Emergency Management, Yankton County, the city of Yankton, the Army Corps of Engineers and utility companies.
The meeting will be held at 4 pm at the Yankton High School/Summit Activities Center main gymnasium.
If possible, the meeting will be live streamed via the internet. A link to the stream will be posted on the main page at http://www.yanktonflood.com.
Emergency management officials decided to hold the meeting at 4 pm to not interfere with events related Yankton’s 150th anniversary celebration. The web feed is being established to accommodate those who are not able to attend the meeting due to employment or other commitments.
