Gavins Point Dam To Reach 160,000 cfs By Thursday

This in not welcome news to those living along the river.

According to the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, flows at Gavins Point Dam will increase to 155,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) Wednesday and 160,000 cfs Thursday.

During a conference call Tuesday evening, the Corps announced that heavy rainfall in the region necessitated the changes.
